The year he was born was the year that the first stone of the Lincoln Memorial was put into place, Babe Ruth hit his first home run, the US House of Representatives rejected a proposal to give women the right to vote and the first stop sign was put into place.
Alot changed in his lifetime.
His favorite past-time became sitting and watching the traffic go by and when he was 96 he bought himself a brand-new pickup truck.
He wasn’t related but we called him “Papa”.
